Wines of South Africa (WoSA) is gearing up for another exciting showcase at ProWein Düsseldorf, taking place from 16 to 18 March 2025. This year, the WoSA pavilion will be prominently positioned in Hall 12, covering Blocks C79, C80, B100, and C100.
With a diverse lineup of producers from across South Africa’s renowned wine regions, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a broad spectrum of wines that highlight the country’s innovation, quality, and heritage. Discover South Africa: A Journey Through Our Wines
A highlight of the WoSA pavilion, the ‘Discover South Africa’ tasting zone, proudly sponsored by DHL Express, will once again offer a carefully curated selection of stylistic and varietal showcases, designed to immerse visitors in the diversity of South African wines.
Morning Tastings (10:00 - 13:00)
Sauvignon Blanc - Explore the crisp, expressive styles from across South Africa’s terroirs. Cap Classique - A showcase of South Africa’s world-class sparkling wines. Rosé - Taste vibrant, fruit-driven Rosé wines that are growing in global popularity. Merlot - A deep dive into the role of Merlot in South Africa’s wine history and market. Old Vine Reds - Discover the depth and character of wines made from heritage vineyards, including Cinsault, Grenache, and Pinotage.
Afternoon Tastings (14:00 - 17:00)
Chardonnay - A tasting of South Africa’s elegant and expressive Chardonnays. Chenin Blanc - From fresh and zesty to barrel-aged complexity, Chenin Blanc takes center stage. Pinotage - A chance to experience South Africa’s signature red variety in all its versatility. Shiraz - Explore the stylistic diversity of this globally loved varietal. Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon - A showcase of one of South Africa’s most acclaimed wine categories.
