WOSA will be organizing the 4th annual "Discover South Africa" campaign in Hong Kong next year, a month long, market-wide campaign comprising retailer and on-consumption promotions with the aim of increasing the visibility of the South African wine category and promoting sell through of in-market brands. WOSA works closely with importers of South African wine to provide them with the marketing tools to organize their own South African themed promotions with their trade customers. WOSA supports importers with digital marketing tools and a consumer competition.
In 2017, we will expand the campaign to Tokyo and Shanghai and WOSA will encourage importers of South African wine to organize activities throughout the month of April. One of the highlights of the campaign is a Generic South African Wine Tasting event where importers participate to promote the South African wines in their portfolios to trade, media and also consumers (Hong Kong and Shanghai only, Tokyo event will have a trade session only). Dates for the tasting events have been confirmed as follows:

• Tokyo – Monday, 24 April 2017
• Shanghai – Thursday, 27 April 2017
