Following increased availability of South African wine in China, and in the build-up to this year's South African presence at Prowine China, WOSA will be organizing a mini road show for the first week of November. We have 15 spots open for SA wine companies interested in traveling to Shen Zhen, Qing Dao, and Nan Jing.

Events in Shen Zhen, Qing Dao and Nan Jing will include an educational seminar for 60 trade and media VIPs (in each city) led by a reputable wine professional in China; the traditional walk-around trade tasting for 200+ attendees; followed by a consumer session with 100+ wine lovers expected to attend in each city.

Cost of participation is approximately USD 3500 per exhibitor table, excluding cost of shipping, international flights, and accommodation. The ZAR amount will be confirmed and communicated as soon as there is enough interest in participation. WOSA will arrange local transportation for those traveling with the group between Shenzhen, Qing Dao, Nan Jing and Shanghai (if you are attending PROWINE CHINA). Accommodation in each city will be for your own account, but WOSA will provide discounted accommodation options (excluding your stay in Shanghai for companies participating in / visiting Prowine China). WOSA will also take care of press/media costs, communication, take away pieces, and other collateral printing, including banners for each exhibitor.

In order to participate, it is recommended that you are already doing business in China. Though there will be arrangements available for new-to-market brands participating in Prowine China and wanting to ship samples from South Africa. The main objective is to create opportunities for you and your importer/s to meet trade customers, to educate trade and media, and to increase awareness among consumers.

30 October – Arrive in Shen Zhen
31 October – South Africa tasting event & seminar (venue tbc)
1 November - Travel from Shen Zhen to Qing Dao
2 November – South Africa tasting event & seminar (venue tbc)
3 November – Travel from Qing Dao to Nan Jing
4 November – South Africa tasting event & seminar (venue tbc)
5 November – Travel from Nan Jing to Shanghai (for companies participating in Prowine China) or own arrangement for onward travel
