We shall also be inviting the different wine routes to consider participation and place some focus on regionality within the South African winelands. We want to showcase South Africa as one of the most exciting wine producing countries in the world. We have a new generation of talented and ambitious winemakers taking on the challenge of making authentic South African wines from new and “forgotten” grapes, in new and rediscovered regions in innovative styles.
The Dutch market is growing for premium wines, with a strong interest also in organic wines. We have educated sommeliers and independent wine shops who are always looking for interesting new wines. The focus will be on the independent and on-trade trade channels as well as media. We expect around 200 trade visitors.
WOSA would like to offer you the opportunity to have a table at this tasting – possibly in collaboration with your importer. It is a great platform to present your unique wines to Dutch wine professionals and show them what we already know – that South Africa thrills like never before!
